We are a welcoming, diverse and inclusive community and promote a culture of non-duress - we value people by who they are and the spirit in which they come to spend time with us, not for their productivity or how much we get done. Your experience means everything to us. There is always a variety of tasks to choose from, and lots of interesting stuff going on. From weeding to watering, building, compost-making, seed sowing, veg packing and more, there’s something for everyone - all abilities, experience levels and whatever your particular interest might be.
You don’t need to bring much with you - we have tools, gloves and protective gear. Just strong, sturdy (and ideally waterproof) footwear. We will give you a tour, induction and ask you to fill in a couple of forms on arrival, and then we’re good to go! We’ll provide refreshments and a fresh, delicious vegetarian lunch from the land, prepared in our kitchen. If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know in advance, and we’ll aim to accommodate you.
Sounds great, when is it?
