What was the vibe of this group?

UWTSD Karting was  a group created and led by students studying within the Swansea Campus.

This society was for individuals who enjoyed all areas of motorsport and socialising in an environment where motorsport is the centre of attention. From Formula 1 watch parties to various karting sessions around south Wales, there was something for everyone in this society whether they were wanting to enhance thier driving skills in a competitive nature or just wanted to enjoy the company of like-minded motorsport fans. 

What activity did they run?

This group held watch parties, did Sim 1 racing and also drove and supported each at BUKC (British University Karting Championship)

Where did they run activity?

Sim 1 Swansea, watch parties at the SU and in local bars which they had sponsorship from. They went to TeamSport Cardiff often for thier regular karting sessions. 

Did they run socials?

Yes, this group ran plenty of club night socials and collaborated with other societies such as TSD Snowsports! The society often went out together after watching motorsports.

Did they run trips?

This group ran different karting sessions at outdoor tracks such as Careg Karting at Llandow circuit and G-Force Karting Pontypool.

As there was a small number of members who competed in the BUKC, they travelled around UK tracks to race for UWTSD and sometimes other members went up to support.
