External Trustee

Katie joins us from Arup where she has worked in a number of roles in the Global People team as an HR Business leader. 

Prior to Arup, Katie was the European HR Director for Pembroke Real Estate and Head of HR at Buro Happold leading teams in Middle East, India and Asia and the Global Business Services teams. 

With 20 years experience in HR in various industries and the last 9 years in professional services, Katie is delighted to be joining as People and Culture trustee and can't wait to join the board particularly given that she has been a student in Wales and is keen to share her working experience back into UWTSD SU. 

 In her spare time, Katie enjoys spending time with family and friends, particularly if it involves a rainy coastal walk in the Gower with her cocker spaniel Sweep but also escaping to sunnier climates when possible!
